Late Last Life LP Out Now

10.26.06: NEWS FLASH!!! Answers Revealed!
Tiny Tina, ethos' girl Friday, had a chance to sit down with ethos
vocalist, Christian Burke and get to the bottom of the new wonderful cd
that is "Late Last Life"  and ask the questions: Why did it take so long?
and: Where the hell have you been?

TT: I've heard the album and it's amazing.  Really dense and dark, but
funny too.  3 years to make, huh?

CB: 3 years off and on.  We didn't work straight through.  There were long
breaks.

TT: What happened?  You were doing well with "I'm a No One" and "Wherever
You Are" and then all of a sudden, you were gone...

CB: Well, we were going along and my grandfather passed away and I wanted
to re-evaluate things.  There were members in the group that wanted to
also.  So by the time we reconvened formally, Danny was our bass player
again and Eric Cojocari was our new secret weapon.  He can play keyboards
and great guitar.  It was a no brainer.

TT: Why not just pick up where you left off?  It was like a year before
you played live again.

CB: We honestly felt it was time to rebuild.  We thought we could make it
better and stronger.  Build it to last.  And I think we've accomplished
that.

TT: So why so long to record?

CB: The songs came slowly at first and we started in a studio where we
weren't familiar with the surroundings.  I never sung a vocal take there.
It was all instrumentals and as time went by, I lost my nerve a bit.  I
thought I couldn't sing...

TT: I beg to differ...

CB: You would!  You're biased!  But we ended up back at Woodshed with Tim
and we put our heads down and here we are.  It's the best thing we've ever
done and there is a lot of hard work ahead and I hope everyone is willing
to get back on board...

TT: Where can I get the cd?
CB: Up until late january, only at our shows. Sorry, but it was either that or nothing till then.
TT: I'm sad you cut a few songs...

CB: It would have been too long!  There are 12 songs as it is.  We cut 3.
"Hey Love", "Are You Into Me?" and "A Note I Wrote".  We'll do something
with them...

TT: Thanks and I'm looking forward to the show at Northern Lights on
October 28th.

CB: Don't get too drunk Tina...
